YAHAT association (Registered Non-Profit Organization No. 580018620) (hereinafter: "the Association") is a non-profit corporation that serves as the central organization for the professions of therapy through the arts in Israel. Its primary objectives include establishing professional and high-quality standards for practitioners, raising public awareness of the profession, and advancing the legal regulation and institutionalization of these fields.

The association respects the privacy of website users and all its customers and operates in accordance with the privacy policy detailed below and in compliance with all applicable laws. This privacy policy is an integral part of the website's terms of use.

Website Content and Purpose

The association’s website (hereinafter: "the Website") provides open and online content that serves as a central resource for therapists, association members (hereinafter: "the Therapists"), students of therapeutic professions (hereinafter: "the Students"), and the general public using the website (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the Users"). The website's purpose is to offer users general information and various services related to different therapy methods, events, conferences, therapist information, and more.

Use of the website and its content is subject to the privacy policy detailed below ("Privacy Policy"). Please read this document carefully, as your use of the website, its content, and/or its services constitutes your agreement and acknowledgment of this Privacy Policy.

When using the website, purchasing services through it or other means from the association, or engaging in any communication with the association, personal information related to you may be collected.   • Customizing advertisements displayed to you based on your interests during your visit to the website or other sites and applications.

  • Sending users promotional and marketing materials via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or other communication methods regarding the association’s products and/or other products and services. This will only be done if explicit consent is given during registration or at another time, or if permitted by law. You may opt out of receiving such communications at any time.

7. Transfer of Information Outside of Israel

The transfer of information or granting access to information stored by the association to third parties outside Israel will only occur if at least one of the following conditions is met:

  • The information is transferred to a country approved by the European Union for data transfers under equivalent conditions.

  • There is an agreement in place with the recipient requiring them to comply with data protection laws.

  • The individual has explicitly consented to the specific transfer.

  • The information is transferred to a subsidiary of the association with appropriate data protection mechanisms.

Transfers will be conducted under contractual agreements ensuring data protection and security.

9. Right to Access, Correct, or Delete Information
Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, individuals have the right to review the information held about them in a database. If an individual finds that the information is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or outdated, they may request its correction or deletion by contacting the association via registered mail or through the contact methods listed on the association's website.

If the information is used for direct marketing, individuals may request its removal from the database. In such cases, only information necessary for the association’s commercial activities will be retained, but it will no longer be used for direct marketing.

10. Authorization for Mailing, Publications, and Advertising
The association offers to send electronic and other advertisements (including via the internet, mobile networks, and any existing or future means, including newsletters). Users who sign up for the association’s mailing list consent to receiving marketing information, updates, and advertisements in accordance with the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) (Amendment No. 40), 2008. Users explicitly agree to receive such mailings via all legally permitted methods (including fax, automated dialing systems, email, or SMS) or any future relevant method.
Users can unsubscribe at any time via the association's customer service at yahat2013@gmail.com. As long as the user has not requested to be removed from the mailing list, the association shall be entitled, subject to the law, to send direct mail as stated.
Additionally, it is clarified that unsubscribing from the mailing service or direct marketing actions will not delete the information collected about the user from the association’s databases, and the association may continue to use such information in accordance with the purposes set out in this privacy policy. Users may re-register for the service by contacting the website’s customer service.
The mailing, including all the information contained therein, is provided "as is" and will be as accurate and correct as possible; however, it may not be complete or may contain technical or other errors, and users shall have no claims in this regard.

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
The association may update this privacy policy from time to time. In the event of significant changes regarding the use of personal information, a notice will be posted on the website’s homepage.
